About Us

Welcome to Forever Footprints. We are so honored by your interest in our story and the inspiration for Forever Footprints.

Forever Footprints was born because we, like all of you, have traveled the difficult path of grief. Sometimes grief feels like the end. We sought a way to honor the memory and legacy of the ones that went before us in death, ensuring that our loved ones remain present with us, that our memories of them never fade.

At Forever Footprints, it is our personal mission to help create a communal space and a meaningful and lasting legacy to your dear family and friends. We are dedicated to celebrating every life, and creating a meaningful tribute. Whether its telling the story of an ancestor or your mom, we recognize the importance of preserving those memories.

Here is my beautiful amazing mother that we lost in early 2024. To learn about her and how Forever Footprints came to be, please continue to read our story.

My mom, Christine Frye, is the inspiration behind "Forever Footprints." After she passed away, I wanted to create something meaningful to honor her memory. We also run a flower preservation company called "Petal Fusion," where we preserve flowers for memorials. We create beautiful custom flower frame boxes, which can include pressed flowers or standard flowers in shadow boxes featuring funeral cards, photos, personal items, and cherished flowers.

While Petal Fusion offers a tangible way to preserve memories, I wanted to go a step further. I envisioned a way to keep our loved ones’ voices and stories alive, through short video or audio clips that capture their essence. This desire led to the creation of "Forever Footprints," a platform where memories live on.

My mom’s journey deeply shaped this vision. In 2012, she suffered a stroke that took away her ability to fully engage in her passion for art. She loved painting, especially in oils, on canvas, wood, and anything else she could imagine. Though she lost much of what she enjoyed, her unwavering love for Jesus and her family remained. Her faith was steadfast, and she often spoke about being ready to go home to be with the Lord, reassuring us that we would see her again.

Ten years later, she finally went home, free from pain and suffering. While it was hard to say goodbye, I found comfort in knowing she was at peace. It was this experience that solidified my commitment to creating "Forever Footprints," not just for my family but for others as well. This platform ensures that memories don’t fade but remain accessible through a simple QR code. By scanning the plaque, families can view photos, videos, and tributes, celebrating the lives of their loved ones on earth as they begin their eternal journey in heaven.

"Forever Footprints" is my way of honoring my mom’s legacy and helping other families cherish the stories and moments that matter most.
